Collection: Lentils from Castelluccio and Umbria

Both types of lenses come from Umbria, Italy and, compared to the lenses we know from retailers, are very small and therefore easy and quick to process. The Lentils from Castelluccio are protected in the Denomination of Origin, because the plateau from which they arise, the Sibillini Mountains, offer excellent conditions. They are grown at over 1000 meters. A height where most of the pests that normally require the use of pesticides no longer occur. And that is also reflected in the intense taste.
